Anne DeBevoise
Yoga was new in the early 1970's when Anne first experienced it at the age of eighteen. She never forgot the feeling she felt on leaving that first class. It lowered her stress levels, integrated her body, mind and spirit, and helped her achieve a sense of balance in some of the most challenging times. After years of attending college and graduate school which prepared her to teach children with language based learning disabilities, she decided to get her 200 hour yoga certification in 2009.
Nearly fifty years after her initial introduction to yoga she began a path of teaching yoga to a wide population of people – for which her background in teaching students with varying learning styles prepared her well. Anne LOVES variety – she has taught hatha yoga and chair yoga in studios and in a hospital setting. Her approach to yoga is that it is a practice for everyone!

Anne's class description: Chair supported yoga benefits everyone no matter what the age. Through gentle movements this yoga class promotes balance, circulation, flexibility, coordination and muscle strength. In addition, it can relieve stress and improve concentration. Chair yoga energizes while bringing a sense of well-being to your life.
Class day and time: Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:30.
