Zandra Image.jpg

Zandra Sneed-Dawkins is a multi-talented artist who believes in the power of art to connect, unify and build understanding. She has 24 years of experience in the Coast Guard, followed by three years volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Zandra earned her degree from Washington University (2021) and has become an expert at acrylic painting mosaics. Her focus on portraiture, expressionism, abstract expressionism, representational art and illustration makes each piece unique – imbued with meaning beyond aesthetics alone.

Born in Richmond and now living in Kansas with her two daughters and granddaughters, Zandra recognizes the importance of female representation in art. Her visionary goal is to have her work showcased at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
